Those tires are undersized for your car. Look at the sidewall of the 18” tires on your car to see what it’s maximum load rating is . A Michelin Primacy MXV4 in that size, for example is rated for 1874#, and turns 715 revs/mile. Check the max load on the 17s and they will have considerably lower capacity, and the smaller diameter will also throw your speedometer & odometer off by the percent difference in rolling diameters.
