Hi all:

I have a manual transmission '07 Type S. it's time for a rear brake job. I've done the fronts, but I've never done the rears.

The rears have an integrated drum parking brake. I have never worked on that type of brake before.

Is there anything special that I need to do with these?

Also, do the right and left rear take the same rotor?

I did my rear through breakmotive.com they have rotors and pads for a good price. Not trying to promote just my experience. I currently have an 08 Type S. Im pretty sure the rotors will have L and R rotor. The rear is pretty standard. The front with the brembo need to open break fluid when you push back drums to slid in break pad. Use some quiet lube on the break shims (autozone 1$). Also shims have arrows for reference.
