Seized Rear Calipers Damaged Front Rotors
Hi everyone
I brought my '05 TSX into a mechanic this afternoon because I had noticed some squeaking whenever I applied the brakes that seemed to be coming from the rears... also, I noticed some slight pulsing in the brake pedal and steering wheel when I braked...
Lifting up the car, they showed me that the rear calipers were seized (the squeaking) and they told me that the front rotors were scorched (slight blue ring on it) and that they needed to be replaced...
They offered to replace the rotors labor-free and give me free pads because the front rotors and pads are only 6 months old (Nov '11)...
Does this seem reasonable?
