stock size on my car is 16"...my new wheels are 17". how much is my spedometer off, is it off, and if i had the wheels mounted in a shop, would they have done anything for the calibration of the spedometer, can anything be done, etc???

if you size the tire correctly, your speedo will not be off by much (if any).
the tl-s cars use 215/50/17, but i think 225/45/17 is doable too. which to use...depends on the rim width and/or offset situation.
