hey guys i need some help here. i am planning on changing my spark plugs and plug wires and i need some opnions. first our car does have plug wires right?

my friend told me that ngk is a good brand on spark plugs, any inputs? what are the good ones? anyone know exactly the model or part number that i need?

for plug wires (if we have them) my friend also says ngk is pretty good. again anyone has any inputs, and maybe model and part number too?

thanks guys.

Sorry henry - we don't have plug wires. We have the coils on each individual plugs so no high-voltage wires necessary. :)

As for plugs, I've heard some have good results with Denso Iridiums (their website has the part # - I forget off hand). We have platinum tipped plugs stock, so you really don't get much from new plugs. :)

ah thanks for the info sky. that's good to hear coz' at least i can save up some bucks by not buying any plug wires :) for the plugs, yeah i know we are using platinum, but if there is a copper replacement it would be much better coz' of its better conductance. i know there is platinum and copper parts for integra but i wonder if there is one for our cars :) guess i have to do more research :) and of course all inputs are welcome.

Actually, I believe Platinum is more conductive than copper, but since it costs so much more than copper, copper is the most popular choice for wires. Also, I believe Iridium is better than Plantium because it is denser and probably more conductive than Plantium as well.
