I have a 92 acura legend Ls 3.2 liter. When I was going to work out of nowhere the tachometer (rpm gauge) just stopped working. When I left work tachometer still wasn't working but as I'm driving the temp gauge just dropped C and didn't move and as I was pulling in my driveway the temp gauge went right to the middle. The thing is it still runs good no issues with that. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

If it is a newer model, a tachometer can stop working because of a damaged LED display unit. Older models can stop working simply from usage. Check the Fuses: If you look for the fuse box in your car, find the fuse for the tachometer. If it has blown this could be the source of your problem

If your car's tachometer has stopped working, there are several things you can do to try to fix it:
  1. Check the connection: The first thing you should do is check the connection between the tachometer and the wiring harness. Make sure the wiring is tight and secure. If it's loose, the tachometer won't get the signal it needs to function properly.
  2. Check the fuses: The tachometer may be connected to a fuse in the fuse box. If the fuse is blown, the tachometer won't work. Check your owner's manual to locate the fuse box and the fuse that controls the tachometer.
  3. Check the sensor: The tachometer may also be connected to a sensor that measures the engine speed. If the sensor is faulty, the tachometer won't work. You may need to replace the sensor.
  4. Check the tachometer itself: If everything else checks out, the problem may be with the tachometer itself. You may need to replace the tachometer or have it repaired by a professional.
In any case, it's always best to consult your car's owner's manual or a qualified mechanic for advice on fixing a faulty tachometer.
