Hi...I am trying to understand if the tailgate as a complete unit will interchange between say a 2004 model year and a 2006 model year RSX. The part numbers are different (2004 model year part number is 68100-S6M-A82, 2006 model year part number is 68100-S6M-405ZZ0) although physically they appear the same size wise and connection wise.

Can anyone confirm interchangability including what if any changes or modifications need to be made to have this work.

I need to replace the 2006 tailgate and I have a spare 2004 that I would like to use which by default will give me the nicer spoiler - in my opinion.

Any help would be greatrly appreciated!

well if you have the spare already you should just try it for yourself and report back here
