Hi all I'm looking at a 2000 RL with 167k on it. If all goes well I will be buying this on Thursday. The party selling it said that the heat only works when pressing on the gas, and that the steering wheel has also stopped working so it stays in one position. Are these easy repairs? I've been trying to do the research and not having a lot of luck.

Ok found something on the heat problem. Either the thermostat or coolant level. Anyone know anything about the steering wheel not being able to switch postions?

Nevermind guys finally found something on the steering looks like I will have to pick up the part at the junk yard or pay 2000 to the dealership.

Does anyone know if a 99 steering column would work on a 2000? I'm guessing it doesn't.

Any 1996-2004 column will work
