Is it possible for the pcv to be causing a stumbling/hesitation. It seems that everytime the indicator comes on the cars performance significantly diminishes. Car is an 08 6Mt type s.

HI - I have the same issue (Tighten fuel cap) warning and went to advanceautopart for a code check. The code returns - "P0404 Exhaust Recirculation Control Circuit Range" in short - EGR. I'm planning to remove the EGR and clean it, hoping it will fix it.

Didn't think of actually checking it with a code scanner. I was just going off reading the forums. Oll do that today.
