Hi, I have a 107,000 miles on my 2006 TL. How many more miles can I get on it before I need to change the timing belt?

a general rule of thumb for timing belts would be 100k miles i believe

you dont want to risk engine damage for sure, so definitely get it done

with my old VW, the timing belt service usually included a new thermostat and water pump and tensioner

The recomened service intervall is 105k. If you live in the city or do a lot of city driving you should have it done before. Rockauto has a timing belt kit for AISIN which includes everything. They are OEM parts the exact same parts the car has on it now with the koyo idler pulleys and what not. If you have a 2006 beware that there is a TSB out that could possibly require a particular shim for once of the timing belt pulleys if being replaced.

Cheers
