I have changed the downstream O2 sensor on my 200 Acura RL. Now I want to change the front two, but, as I've read on these forums, it's a tight fit. I have the special socket tool, and I can reach down and place it on the sensor, but it's getting enough clearance and proper leverage to break the bead on the existing O2 that causing me problems.
1) Is the top approach the best on this car? I just don't see any way possible coming at it from the bottom.
2) I can get the socket tool on the sensor, and an extension bar into the socket tool, but I need something like an angled extension to fit into the first extension so that I will have enough room to leverage the wrench. Anyone have any ideas of handy tools for this operation?
