Hi, I have a 2006 TL. I am losing about 8 lbs of tire pressure each week. I was told by my dealer that two of my tires had bad bead seals and 3 tires had a bad tire pressure valve stem. They wanted to replace the stem including the TPMS at about $100/wheel. I just had them fix the tire bead seal and I am waiting to see how they do. Has anybody ever replaced the TPMS valve stem by themselves?
Here is an update. So far, since having the tires mounted and balanced the leaks seem to be gone. I am wondering if the dealer was trying to sell me new TPMS valves when I didn't need them.
Not sure if this will apply to your TL but it's worth mentioning. When I helped my girlfriend get new tires for her 2012 Nissan Altima at Discount Tire recently, it was $8 per TPMS sensor to replace all 4. Again, not sure if they are compatible with Acura but I imagine they are. I own a 2008 Acura TSX btw.**
