I have been lurking around this forum for a while. Been a great help finding DIY and other useful information about my TL.
Unfortunately, I will not be needing these services anymore.
I took my 2008 TL-S in for the Power Steering Hose Recall not to long ago. As all of you know, the Recall is to prevent the hose from combusting.
However, within 24hrs of the job being completed, the hose combusted. Acura admits to the fault, due to the negligence of a mechanic. The hose was not installed properly.
Thought you all would be interested in seeing it on fire.
It is not me making and commentating in the video. It is the sales rep at the Lexus dealership next door.
No body was hurt in the fire.
