Recently the trunk does not open using the door switch. The key FOBS open the trunk as does the key. The door switch ohms out as good and the wires to the switch are good.

Any thoughts which electronic module has quit working and where it is located?

In April I had dealer do the service where they replace all the belts, water-pump, etc, etc.... and they apparently replaced my cabin filters as well. Not something I remembered a month later. So, just the other day I went through the procedure for cabin filter replacement and found the dealer did not reconnect the trunk wiring plug located at the glove box. It appeared to be in but was not completely in.
