Hey everyone, I need some help, I just bought 3 Tv's and one of those DVD/MP3/VCD/SVCD/CDR/CDRW car players. Im going to put two tv's in the head rests and one tv in front of the passenger. heres my question, How do I get sound out of it without replacing the stock head unit? the DVD player has RCA jacks in the back, but does the stock unit? if not, is there anyway to get sound without changing the stock unit? THanks

Well, the back of the stock HU has a 12pin Molex connector using Mbus..

So somehow you would have to convert it to that..

The other way is to use an FM modulator, however this is not the best quality..

btw, I'm moving this to the Audio Video Forum..

Aux Input

Here's an option for adding aux inputs. I haven't installed it yet, but I've ordered the parts, and read about one other guy who has done this. Peripheral has a new Honda-Clarion adaptor to hook up a c-bus changer. The adaptor also has aux inputs that are activated by grounding a wire which pauses the changer. I just got a 12 disc changer on ebay for $130, and the adaptor is on a blowout sale from www.autosoundgear.com

I'm thinking about using it to hook up a NEO, or an Empeg. Any suggestions on how to install an Empeg while keeping a stock look? Maybe in the glove compartment? Or somehow extending the face and controls like the NEO, and remote mounting the unit?
Anyone tried both? I heard the Empeg is a lot better, but it's gonna cost me about $450 for a 10gig vs. about $250.

Anyways, I got a 2003 TL-S/ navi. I'll let you know if the clarion adaptor works.....

Slammed: Whoa, thats pretty far off from where I usually go, Up in this area, in coral springs, theres a LOWES that everyone goes to on Tues night around 10, theres always like about 200 cars out there. I used to go up to Lakeworth on thurs nights, cause it gets pretty sick up there too, but its becoming too much of a drive, coral springs is only like 15 minutes for me, but maybe one of these days, i'll head down to Miami and check out the scene.

I don't know much about stereos so I couldn't give you any input about what your doing. Im thinking its too much of a hassle to install my TV's without changing the headunit, So i think i'll just sell the Tv's and try this again for another day. THanks
