Hey everyone, I'm the new guy.

I need a little assistance in locating some information on my air conditioning leak. A few weeks ago my AC stopped in my Type S and since then my life has been substantially heated due to the heat wave.

Today I took it to the dealer and got the diagnosis. The discharge line is leaking and I need to replace it. Would anyone know where I can find detailed instructions on how to repair this issue? Perhaps even a picture guide for those like myself who are like a blind man in the dark when it comes to vehicles?

Thanks everyone!

I'm guessing that that they're speaking of the factory service hard line for the a/c system. I've rarely seen the lines themselves go bad unless they've been bent which may cause a crack. Typically with freon leaking issues around there, I've seen it to be more common for the o-rings at the ends of the lines to be the issue, not so much the line itself. The other issue for a/c system on these cars is the a/c condenser. Since the front has such a big opening at the bottom, it's common to see rocks or other road debris hit the condenser and have leaks come from there. I know this isn't much in the way of the help you were looking for specifically, but it's information I had off the top of my head.

Sadly I have not been given the opportunity in the last week to go and look at it for myself. But when I do get down there to look I would like to know what I'm looking at. I may not be very vehicle savvy, and even less so for AC systems, but I am very good at following directions.

I may not be of much help here. When my a/c compressor blew up on me (it was in the in-between time from when my car went from street car to race car), I just ripped the whole system out with wreckless abandon.
