The new '02-'03 remote won't work with '01 and earlier TLs but it will work on some CLs from what I've heard. I also heard that swapping the electronics from the old style TL remote into the casing of the new style TL remote is not possible, but I kinda wonder about this.
Perhaps with a little bit of filing, that it might be possible to do swap the electronics and thereby get a cool looking remote for the '99-'01 TLs too. ? Oh well, I went aftermarket with my alarm anyways.
