well....i have h&r springs on, so i can't get too big of wheels. I'm thinking about 18" being my max. Anyone know why there such a high demand for typeS wheels?
i don't think there are high demands on the stock tls rims. with the h&r sport you should be able to put on 18 with the correct offset. the only place i know other than dealer to get the rims is from acp, but you probably wanna ask around more.

some people like the look of the stock tls rims that's why they get them. keep in mind they aren't the best 17 rims out there and it's not necessary cheap neither. if you are looking for performance, aftermarket ones are always the ones to look for

If you're trying to get some Type-S rim, you might want to try ebay first. I've seen couple of post there.

Also, one of member trying to sell his Type-S rim on this board. His member ID is djkojione.

I think he's asking around 725. PM him.

go with 18" aftermarket wheels. They are more noticeable and about the same price (if not cheaper)

I've seen rims and tires off of Type-Ss go for around $700 on eBay...I don't think you can find 18"s without tires that cheap...then again, the 18"s are more noticeable, like you pointed out...

The TL-S 17" rims are too narrow in my opinion. You can't get commonly-available, decent-sized tires (225/40 for example) that will fit in there. About the only tires that you can buy for it is the standard 215/50's, and there aren't that many of them around.
