I have a 2007 Acura TL Type S with nav. The stereo switches modes(FM1 FM2 XM1 XM2 etc...) all by itself. I can't figure out why it is doing this. It will stop on one of the selections sometimes for a few mins and then start switching again. The weird thing is, it doesn't do it when the key is on but the engine is off. As soon as I start the engine is starts switching. Also when the engine is on and the Volume is on zero it won't do it but as soon as I turn the volume up it starts switching. I hope to find someone that has heard of this before. Thank you in advance.

My guess is a shorted button within the stereo face. Try hitting the affected button multiple times to unstick it.
