Hope someone can help.
I just finished replacing the camshaft seals, and have re-installed the rocker shafts. Before going any further, I would like to makes sure that oil from the tappets didn't leak out. Is there a way to check if they need bleeding after the shafts have been installed?
Also, if they do need bleeding, will they will recharge (bleed) when the engine runs. Seems to me that running the engine should remove any air trapped in the tappet. I would like to be certain before completing the re-assembly.
Thanks.

The whole engine should pump up with oil within a minute or two. To my knowledge, nothing on the top of the engine needs priming, as an oil pump would.
