I think I want something with a slight mirror tint...not too dark. Pictures and/or suggestions?

Johnson's makes a film called sillouette, it is charcoal/alluminum and it looks black with a slight shine,mirrror to it. I think it would look good on a black tl. Go to www.johnsonwindowfilms.com for more info on the different kinds of tint.

I have 28% and it has a little mirror too it, but you can still see through it so no questions from cops. It's quantum tint... good stuff.

maybe you got quantum black. It's metalized, but it's limo black.

mirror tint on black is phat as hell especially if you have chrome rims...i just dont want to go tha low w/tha TL...i had a black 98 rodeo w/tru mirror tint...its like looking into a mirror at 35%...i think the reason why i got pulled over so much is because of my tints...its not too hard to find a nice tint to match what you want though...Shyne:king:

it depends on how much metal is contained in the metallic tint. i heard it can mess up the navigation system as well, but i havent had any issues and ive been driving like this for about 4 mons now.

my tint looks like the one in the pic...mine is Llumar titanium tint.

look at sqamar95 pictures,

he's got 35% titanium tint and I think they look so good compared to black tint. As for Radar, yes the amount of metal makes a difference. But most of the radar detector is using the front to pick up signals, so in most cases u should be okay.

Thanks for the info . I'm actually not worried about the radar detector thing because the computer will be taking care of all that with the active radar jammer.
