[Crazy Quattro]

I been reading BMW forums, and some M3 owners say they run 14.0-14.3... i always thought the e46 m3 was faster than that. :dunno:

the "old gen m3" is not the e46 though. I would figure the e46 would be AT LEAST in the mid 13s.

But 14-14.3 sounds about right for an e36.

What sea level are they at? I know when I was at a track back in Oct. a E46 smurf blue m3 ran 14's, but that's cause we are in high elevation. It should be mid to low 13's though in regular elevation. I mean I see 330ci 5-speeds running mid 14's.

The E36 M3s (one that I had '95-'99) run 14 flat @ 99MPH at the track (my best was a very very low 14.1 stock).

The E46 M3s ('01 - current) run low 13s (I've seen numbers of 13.1-13.3 stock). Depending on driver of course and SMGII system.

weird, i read 3, 2001 m3 owners who say they do 14s in 1/4... hell even me and spiroh saw a 2001 m3 at the track do somthing like 14.4 Maybe the M3 is hard to drive? :dunno:

All I have to say is that those M3 owners need their cars taken away from them.

I'm hitting low low 14s in front of Spiroh at the track w/ my stock 240HP M3. What do you think a 333HP one will do?

Mostly i hear people do low 13s. about 13.2 or so. 14s - they obviously bought the m3 for image and can't drive worth shit.
I have even heard someone doing 12.8 with minor mod. So yeah 14s is possible for idiot drivers.
