I see all these B18C5 motors on ebay selling for $3500-4000. Are people really buying these for that much? I have a 95 integra gs-r with an 01' B18C5 motor recently rebuilt (50 miles ago) with only 83,000 miles on it and the most I can seem to get for the WHOLE car is 3500.

Am I better off pulling the engine and trying to sell it?

I think your hella getting low balled, in my area 95 GSR's with the STOCK B18C1's are going for 5k+ all day so i wouldn't take anything less than that for yours. I don't see why you couldn't get like 6k+ for yours with a B18C5 Type R engine. If i could afford it id have no problem paying you 6k for it. :boink:

6K for the C5? Really? I can pick up a B1 for 500 and turn it into an absolute C5 murderer for the remaining 5K. That is a ridiculous price to pay for an engine that hasn't been updated in over 10 years. Only possible reason it would be worth that much money is because people get all hyped up about the mighty C5!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, 3k for a C1 is ridiculous too.

i was referring to the WHOLE running vehicle lol, i wouldn't pay 6k for just the engine....C5's (just the engine) around my area go for around $1,300-$2k and up to $3k with an S80 tranny. I personally wouldn't buy just the engine for that much for same reasons as you.

i was picking up B18A1's around here for $150-$200 a pop and they were good running engines, i bought 4 total and blew them all up but the last 1 because i built it for my turbo while i was blowing the others lol...but then car got stolen and chopped.
