OK...I was doing some long distance freeway driving this weekend and noticed something VERY annoying. When I'm going straight, my steering wheel is pointing ever so slightly to the left so now the original 3-9 positions are roughly pointing to 2:30-8:30 and the Acura symbol in the center of the steering wheel is crooked.

When you get an alignment...would they fix the orientation of your steering wheel also? It is very frustrating because the freeway is already slanted right to let the water drain to the side and pulling the wheel to the left to compensate makes the crooked symbol even more noticable.

P.S.
Could some1 enlighten me on how much alignments go for?

wow 2:30 and 9:30 that's pretty bad alignment. i am not totally sure if alignment will fix this steering wheel problem but i guess they could? one thing i am wondering though. say you put your steering wheel at 2:30 and 9:30, does the car go straight or it's still pulling to the left? if not then it means that the car is aligned?

a good 4 wheel laser aligment shouldn't go higher than 80 bucks at most. wheel works do a pretty good job and i had my alignment done there. my friend went to a more "race cars" specific shop and got his alignment done for 100 bucks and my friend was able to specify the degrees he wants

umm that's interesting. maybe bring the car in to the dealer to check it out? or it could be coz' of the freeway. in general all the roads are tilted to the right, so water will slip away during rain. if you think about it, when you ride on those roads, the car WILL go to the right if you steer directly to the front. maybe that's why?

i think you need an alignment because on my previous car, I had a front end wreck...After I got the car back, it never drove the same in my mind because my steering wheel was cocked left...Probably the same way as you are experiencing, so i got an alignment...And there after, i noticed the alignment fixed the steering wheel and it drove straight...My TL just got aligned after my drop...before the alignment, I always had to steer right to compensate for the car going left...Now its fixed...On a lot of highways, the left lane has a slight pitch to it...So sometimes i notice my steering wheel in the 1 to 2 o'clock position:D...Shyne:king:
