Where do you get a Strut Bar?

i don't know about how much noise the intake makes cause i put in my exhaust at the same time and that shit was loud. performance wise, i did feel more torque and stuff, maybe. but that can all be in the head.

I installed one on my 3.2TL. I purchased a strut bar made for a 97 Honda Civic and made the brackets to fit our strut tower. It was quite simple.

out of curiosity, would you mind explaining how you mod'd the civic sway bars? i vaguely remember you saying something about styrofoam..... just wondering.

I bought a strut bar made by Protech for Honda Civics. I chose the bar from a display rack looking only for a certain shape and this one happened to be it.

I took the brackets off the bar and placed the bar above the engine roughly where I wanted it with the plastic engine cover removed. I then measured the area around the strut towers and made a bracket using cardboard. I took this cardboard template to a fabricating shop and got them to make up the brackets.

Unfortunately, the fab shops threw the templates away, otherwise I would give them to you.

I dono, I think that all the homemade ones Ive read about here were for the 3.2's
only people I remember with strut bars on their 2.5's bought the GAB from mike's site.
