We've had a couple of 90+ degree days here in Kansas City and I feel the urge to tint Since I have the Inspire sunshade, I think I'll just tint the four side windows at 35% and leave the front and rear windows clear. This way I can retract the rear sunshade at night, and the metallic content won't mess up my GPS reception.

Where can I get a good price on high quality tint in KC?

I would recommend Midwest Tint on Shawnee Mission Parkway or A1 Tint in Olathe. A1 did mine and did a good job, I think Midwest did some of the other KC members TL's.

Holy mackarel. A 4-window tint job will run me $145 for the "Sunguard" 35% tint at Midwest Tinting. That's pretty steep.

They also offer "Endurance" tint for an extra $50... is that stuff any good?

I can't find "A1 Tint" in Olathe. Do you mean A-1 Auto Salon?

Actually $145 sounds about right. I think I paid $160 for five windows.

The A1 joint must of either gone out of business or changed their name.
