I'm working on a friend's 2005 tl. It is a manual trans. He told me it had a front end click so I went ahead and put cv axles in it. I also did lower ball joints and outter tie rods. But the front end still has a click and it seems like it happen when it Get close to lock to lock. What should I be looking at? Could it be inner tie rod? The wheel bearings seem good.

Check the stabilizer bar links for play or looseness. Those suckers will drive you crazy with weird noises. See if there's any play or if you can rotate them easily when the car's wheels are on the ground. You should be able to reach them easily by turning the wheel lock to lock.
