I need new tires and thought about going a bit wider than the 215/45VR17 stockers. I'd like no rubbing issues.

If your CSX rim is a 17x7, then according to my research, you're cool with tire fitment to the rim. It's only 10mm wider. Assuming your suspension is bone stock. Re, not lowered, then I would believe there'd be no rub issues. Your speedometer will be out a tad because of the slightly bigger diameter of the 225's, but not by much;
