i would like to remove clean and paint my window trim all around, but i dont know how they come off. do i need a special tool? it there a trick? do i need tons of special replacement clips ect? thanks. 96TL3.2

non-scratching panel tools will be helpful. With the age of the vehicle, I'd recommend getting replacement clips. Just take your time and it'll come off.

Were you trying to refresh them (back to black, or re-polish if they were chrome)?

well mine are chrome now so i would really like to pull them and black them out. i really really dont like chrome. plus it gives a chance to clean a car in places that never get cleaned.

Well I don't have any information about window trims as I haven't come up with this kind of situation. I could say that I would be looking information on this so that I could be able to use it for future purposes.
