The NSX-r is lighter so it should be faster, but the guy did a average launch. The NSX Type S zero did 12.8 too.rominl said:damn this is awesome! but the new nsx has pretty much the same numbers as all the previous ones right?
no doubt, i want the nsx more than the gt-r any day![]()
wow, any "words" on what the nsx-r could do? what's special about the nsx-r to make it lighter? it's full of aluminum already... something are taken out?evolaerok said:

carbon fiber, lower drag, I don't remember if some engine components were removed, but it doesn't have AC.rominl said:

Yeah those are stock vs. stock numbers. I mean you can mod a skyline like crazy, but it still can't achieve what the NSX has. The NSX is a 12 year old platform that is still strong to this day. The engine delivers good performance and still manages to be LEV vehicle while the skyline cannot be brought to the US, because of the engine isn't low emissions. This is why nissan scraped the skylines straight six and they are trying to make the VQ even more potent.chadhova said:Are those the numbers for both cars stock?:dunno:
umm..... i have seen a video of a modded skyline with 7xx hp at the wheels, and that's on the street. i guess that thing would smoke the nsx?evolaerok said:

What I mean is, yeah you can mod the skyline, but how many times have they gone through model changes? NSX has only had one platform. The NSX is LEV vehicle that is sold here in the US, skyline cannot be due to the emissions reason. That's why alot of the extra 40k you pay to have it imported is for tax and fee's.rominl said:
