umm..... i don't have manual anymore, but it should be in your manaual? for my lexus it's about 30k miles. but you should check it often though, coz' depending on where you are, it makes huge difference

 

borrow a phillips head screw driver and remove the four screws, take off the air cover and then the air filter and look at it. not the top side the under side. if its dirty then buy a k&n replacement 39 bucks at nopionline or a paper replacement for 12 bucks at any auto parts store.. if its clean then put the thing back together.

 

K&N has a 1,000,000 mile warranty. No filter cleaning in the first 50,000 miles.

 

I did mine at 15K miles, so I've done it twice already...

I will probably do the K&N next time if I have my car that long
